Three Palestinians Killed in Israeli Strikes on Central Gaza

(MENAFN) Three Palestinians lost their lives Wednesday as Israeli army strikes hit the central Gaza Strip, marking the latest in a series of attacks that authorities say breach a ceasefire agreement in place since October 2025.

Two of the fatalities occurred when an Israeli strike targeted a residential home in the Maghazi refugee camp, a medical source told media.

The body of a third Palestinian was transported to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah following a separate Israeli strike in the Al-Mughraqa area. The precise nature of that attack has yet to be determined.

In a parallel development, the Israeli army pressed ahead with sweeping demolition operations across territories under its control in both northern and southern Gaza.

In Khan Younis, local sources told Anadolu that the Israeli army executed at least 10 demolition operations targeting buildings and facilities east of the city, carried out alongside sustained artillery shelling and heavy gunfire across surrounding areas.

Eyewitnesses also reported two intense demolition operations conducted by the army in the eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City.

Since the ceasefire took effect on Oct. 10, 2025, the Israeli army has killed more than 930 Palestinians and wounded over 2,850 others in near-daily strikes, according to the Gaza Media Office.

The truce brought a halt to a two-year military campaign on Gaza launched in October 2023 — a conflict that, according to Palestinian figures, has claimed the lives of nearly 73,000 Palestinians and left more than 173,000 injured, the overwhelming majority of them women and children.
