Israeli Speaker Gets Disrupted by Pro-Palestinian Protests at ILO Meeting

(MENAFN) An Israeli official is unable to complete his speech at the International Labour Organization (ILO) conference in Geneva after repeated protests from delegates, according to reports.

Israeli diplomat Waleed Gadban faces interruptions during the 114th International Labour Conference as participants express support for Palestinians.

Ministers and representatives from several countries, along with trade union delegates, bang on desks while he speaks.

Turkish Labor and Social Security Minister Vedat Işıkhan and members of the Turkish delegation also take part in the protest, along with trade union representatives from Türkiye.

Some participants display Palestinian flags, while others wear scarves reading “Free Palestine,” as security personnel instruct some to remove the flags, according to reports.
