Netanyahu Joins Trump’s “Board of Peace”
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Netanyahu accepted the offer and will serve as a member of the group’s senior body, which is expected to include global leaders.
Trump’s invitation came despite the International Criminal Court issuing an arrest warrant for Netanyahu in 2024 over alleged war crimes in Gaza.
The statement from Netanyahu’s office was released shortly before he was scheduled to appear once again before the Tel Aviv Central Court on charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust.
The “Board of Peace” is described as a Trump-led initiative designed to address international disputes, beginning with the Gaza conflict.
